Go Live
At the end of the project realization phase there is a go-live decision. Bearing in mind the importance and impact on the business operation of such a decision there are certain requirements that need to be fully met:
- All required deliverables are fully met
- The project have achieved the objectives and delivered the business benefits described in the business case
- The data has been migrated and reconciled
- The system has been fully setup and functional
- The users have been trained and user acceptance test signed and agreed
Only after all of these requirements have been fully met should the business go live. The important factors such as risks of not going live, impact of going live on the smooth business operation have to be taken into consideration.
